(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 204 dated 16.08.2021 (Annexure P-1) under Section 363, 366-A, 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur as in fact the present petitioner No.1 and the daughter of respondent No.3 i.e. respondent No.2 have solemnized marriage on 24.08.2021.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Sukha Singh, informs this Court that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner No.1 has been declared proclaimed person vide order dated 15.04.2023 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sangrur; supplementary challan has been filed in the matter on 07.06.2023; and petitioner No.2 has been acquitted vide

judgment dated 13.09.2023 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sangrur.

Learned counsel for the State, however, informs that victim/respondent No.2 herein has not supported the case in her statement made under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
