This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for direction to the respondents to register a criminal case against the culprits as per the facts mentioned in the petition and appropriate action in according with law.

Learned State counsel has filed the status report of Gurpreet Singh, PPS, DSP City-II, Bathinda, in the Court and the same is taken on record and he relies on para 8 thereof which reads thus:- "That meanwhile, on dated 18.01.2020, Rajesh Goyal Son of petitioner Sohan Lal Goyal had also moved an application to The Chairman Sahib, Punjab State Human Rights Commission, Punjab, Chandigarh for taking action against Sh. Gurjeet Singh Romana, the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-l, Bathinda and Harmander Singh Son of Baldev Singh resident of Village Sangowal, District Ludhiana and the same was entrusted to the Superintendent of Police, City Bathinda for inquiry. During inquiry, the inquiry officer had found that on dated 10.01.2020, Harmander Singh proprietor of M/S Bankon Construction, Landhiana had moved an application to Sh. Gurjeet Singh Romana, the then ASHOK KUMAR 2023.07.14 21:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Bathinda for taking action against Suresh Goyal and Rajesh Goyal residents or Bhagu Road, Bathinda and after registering the same vide 4/Peshi Dated 10.01.2020, Sh. Gurjeet Singh Romana, the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-1, Bathinda had summoned to both of the parties and on dated 16.01.2020, the petitioner Sohan Lal Goyal, being father of answering respondents Suresh Goyal and Rajesh Goyal, had demanded for some time of dated 24.01.2020 for production of their sons in inquiry but then they all have never appeared before the inquiry officer. Meanwhile, on dated 28.01.2020. Sh. Gurjeet Singh Romana, the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-1, Bathinda had gone on Ex-India Leave and then their charge was transferred to Sh.
Sanjeev Kumar Singla, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Bathinda, who further contest inquiry upon the application and after inquiry, the same cosigned to record room on dated 24.02.2020 being the matter of exchange of money. Therefore, allegations levelled by Rajesh Goyal were found to be not true as neither Sh. Gurjeet Singh Romana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-1 Bathinda nor Harmander Singh given any kind of threat of registration of case or abusing or pressurized to Rajesh Goyal as such there is no need to take any further action on the application and the same is recommended to be consigned into record room vide Report No.6/HRC/2020 Dated 07.10.2020."

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed.

The instant petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail of alternate remedy, if any, available to him in accordance with law.
