Husband-petitioner is in revision petition against the order passed by the learned trial court fixing the maintenance pendente lite @ Rs.10,000/- per month for the wife and the minor child. Petitioner, who appears in person, submits that although he is a practicing advocate for the last 8 years, however, he does not have any work. He submits that since he does not have any work, therefore the order passed by the learned trial court fixing maintenance pendente lite is on the higher side.

It is not disputed before me that the family owns approximately 23 kanals of land. It is further the allegation of the wife that the husband is also running a dairy.

Taking into consideration all these facts, the Court has awarded maintenance pendente lite of Rs.10,000/- which is a bare sustenance for two persons.

Civil Revision No.7553 of 2017 (O&M) -2In view thereof, there is no scope for interference in the impugned order passed by the trial Court.

The revision petition is dismissed.
