Petitioners allege that both of them are major and they got married on 23.01.2024 against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 9 who are related to petitioner No.1 and 2. This is their first marriage. 2.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that aforesaid private respondents No.4 to 9 have threatened to cause harm to both the petitioners and in this regard, representation dated 22.01.2024 (Annexure P-3) was given to Superintendent of Police, Ambala but till date no action has been taken by the concerned authority in this regard. 3.

Notice of motion.

Ms. Aditi Girdhar, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of State of Haryana. She submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of above, without going into the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with direction to Superintendent of Police, Ambala to consider representation dated 22.01.2024 (AnnexurePriyanka Thakur 2024.01.31 16:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document P-3) and to take action if so warranted in accordance with law.
