(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.145 dated 26.10.2015, under Sections 308, 323, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Moonak, Punjab (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise deed dated 07.01.2019 (P-3).

Pursuant to order dated 28.01.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 11.02.2019 along with receipt of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.81 dated 27.02.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur, vide Endst. No.1744/EB dated 28.02.2019. According to the report, ld. Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, SONIKA 2019.03.20 17:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-3915 of 2019 --2-- Moonak is satisfied that matter has been voluntarily compromised between the parties with the free consent of complainant without any pressure or undue influence and the compromise is genuine. Considering the report of ld. Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak dated 27.02.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.145 dated 26.10.2015 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.

Disposed of accordingly.
