ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.84 dated 05.05.2018 registered under Sections 22/29/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Jodhan, District Ludhiana Rural. The operative part of the order dated 01.02.2019, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:- "....Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was not named in the FIR and after the arrest of the co-accused namely Mandeep Singh, the name of the petitioner surfaced in his disclosure statement. It is further submitted that the recovery stands effected and the petitioner is not involved in any other case. Counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Sukhdev Singh, has not disputed the factual position and submits that the petitioner be directed to join the investigation.

Adjourned to 25.03.2019...."

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 01.02.2019, the petitioner has appeared before the MOHD YAKUB 2019.03.25 16:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.3807 of 2019 (O&M) Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation. In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 01.02.2019 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
