*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing officials respondent No.2 to 5 to complete the enquiry against respondent No.7 (Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Beas), Block Rayya, District Amritsar.
The petitioner alleges misappropriation and embezzlement of funds by the Sarpanch.
Learned State counsel, after taking instructions from Sh. Parampal Singh, SSP (Vigilance), Amritsar, has made a statement that pending inquiry shall be completed within three months. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the petition is disposed of.
