The present petition has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 29.11.2021 passed in CWP-23436-2021 and CWP-23986-2021. The order dated 29.11.2021 reads as under:
"Despite specific directions issued on 18.11.2021, records have not been produced by the respondents.
Learned State counsel seeks more time to do the needful. Posted on 25.01.2022.
Till the next date of hearing, the impugned transfer order(s) shall remain stayed.
Photocopy of this order be placed on the file(s) of the connected matter(s)."

Vide the said order dated 29.11.2021 the transfer of the petitioners in the writ petitions was stayed. The grievance of the petitioners is that though they have joined their place of work, however, for a period of four months they were not permitted to join their duties and they have not been paid for the same period.

Respondent No.1 is present in Court and states that the matter qua the payment of salary has to be decided by the DPI. It is further stated that the matter has duly been forwarded by respondent No.1 to the DPI hence there is no willful disobedience of the order dated 29.11.2021. 4.
In the present case, only direction passed on 29.11.2021 in CWP-23436-2021 and CWP-23986-2021 was that transfer order of the petitioners was stayed. As of today, the petitioners have been taken back into service, therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case.

Disposed off accordingly. Rule stands discharged.
