IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CR 7823/2014 Date of decision:20.07.2017 Sahil Gupta ..............Petitioner v.

Sham Lal and others ..............Respondents Coram:

Hon'ble Mr.Justice Jaswant Singh Present:- Mr.Ishan Gupta,Advocate for the petitioner/landlord Mr.HR Nohria,Advocate for respondents/tenants 1 to 3 Jaswant Singh,J,(Oral).

Landlord is in revision directed against the order dated 14.2.2014 passed by the Appellate Authority,Sangrur whereby mesne profits @ Rs.6000/- per month payable w.e.f. the date of eviction order dated 17.8.2013 passed by the Rent Controller,Sangrur has been passed in the pending appeal filed by the tenants against the eviction order. It is averred that the mesne profits have been assessed at a lower rate by ignoring the evidence of prevailing rate of rent in the locality being Rs.25,000/- per month.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the respondents/ tenants submits that the present revision has become infructuous as the Appellate Authority has already allowed the appeal of the tenants Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.07.21 09:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
