(Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to take action on the application dated 14.12.2024 (Annexure P-7), submitted by the petitioner and renew his passport.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the passport already stands issued to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
