(Oral) The prayer in the present petition is for issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondent No.3, who, with the help of local police, is harassing and humiliating the present petitioner and his family members by raiding the house and calling them to the police station. The learned State counsel has filed a reply dated 19.03.2022. As per Para 4 of the reply, the police party went in search of accused Aslam Khan in Nawab Colony and for the said purpose, they went near the house of Mohd. Yaseen, the present petitioner, but did not enter into the said house. However, enquiries were made from the neighbours to locate the whereabouts of the absconding accused-Aslam Khan and then the police party returned back. Detailed entries of departure and arrival are also incorporated in the DDR.

In view of the aforesaid facts, it was concluded that the allegations levelled in the representation (Annexure P-5) regarding harassment to the petitioner and his family members were found false and baseless and a report thereon was submitted.

In view of the above, no further orders are called for by this Court. Disposed of.
