The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for seeking a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to take legal action against respondents No.5 to 9 for their act of harassing and torturing the petitioner. 2.

It is contended that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 10.09.2019 (Annexure P-1) at Police Station Shambhu to take action against her husband and in-laws for harassing her on account of demand of dowry and when no action had been taken, she approached the office of Senior Superintendent of Police and Director General of Police by submitting representations (Annexures P-2 & P-3) but as on date, no action has been taken.

At this stage, on the asking of the Court, Mr. Davinder Bir Singh, DAG, Punjab who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and submits that the official respondents will look into the matter and will take a decision on the representations of the petitioner. Let sufficient number of copies of the complete paper book be supplied to her during the course of day.
