This petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.463 dated 25.11.2024 under Sections 115, 126, 190, 191(2), 191(3), 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short, 'BNS') (Sections 115(2), 126(2), 117(2) and 117(3) of the BNS added later on) registered at Police Station Sadar Jind, District Jind.

On 27.01.2025, the following order was passed:- "XX XX XX XX Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the petitioner has not been attributed any specific role or injury; he was alleged to be armed with a danda at the time of the occurrence in question. Furthermore, it is a case of version and cross version. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to join investigation and cooperate with the investigating agency. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and appear before the investigating agency as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Vazir Singh, at the very outset, informs the Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. 4.

In view of the statement of learned State counsel, order dated 27.01.2025 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973). 5.

The petition stands disposed of.
