(ORAL) The Petitioners have preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to stop the illegal operation of buses in violation of norms/scheme dated 22.02.2018 by the respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the aforesaid context, the petitioners have already represented before the respondents by way of legal notice dated 26.12.2022 but no action has been taken so far.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case their legal notice dated 26.12.2022 is ordered to be decided by the POONAM BHATT 2023.02.06 14:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this Judicial Record/Decree/Document, which is scanned copy of the original

CWP No.2185 of 2023 -2Competent Authority in accordance with law in a time bound manner.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sanjeev Soni, Addl. A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and submits that the grievance of the petitioners shall be redressed in accordance with law and the pending legal notice dated 26.12.2022 of the petitioners shall be decided accordingly within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. This Court has no doubt that in case illegal operation of buses is found, then the Competent Authority, will take necessary action in accordance with law.
