The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.88 dated 11.08.2016, under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Women Cell, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise deed dated 29.01.2021 (Annexure P-4). 2.
As per the report dated 16.08.2024, received from the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana, the parties did not turn up before the trial Court for recording of their statements in compliance of the orders dated 15.07.2024 and 18.07.2024.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 4.
It seems that the petitioners have lost interest in the present petition and they do not want to pursue the same.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 6.
