**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This revision petition is directed against the order dated 23.08.2016, passed by the trial court wherein application moved by the petitioner for adjourning the case sine die has been dismissed. Application was moved on the ground that certain documents have been seized by the police pursuant to FIR No.130/2015 registered under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC.

According to him, to cross-examine the plaintiff-respondent, the defendant-petitioner requires the necessary documents. Written statement has already be filed in the case.

In considered opinion of the court, there is no ground for adjourning the matter sine die on this flimsy ground. Civil proceedings would take their own course. The suit shall be decided as per evidence led by the parties.

Criminal proceedings are separate.
