(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioner besides his family member as well at the hands of respondents No. 2 to 5. In pursuance to the advance notice served upon the State of Punjab, Mr. Amit Shukla, AAG, Punjab, on instructions, from respondent No.3 submits that no such inquiry as mentioned in para 7 of the petition relating to order dated 13.01.2023 has been marked by respondent No.3. Learned State counsel further submits that in case of any threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner as well as to his family members, he can approach respondent No.2 by making a detailed representation, which shall be considered in accordance with law.
