(ORAL) The petitioner herein seeks the relief of anticipatory bail in the criminal case pertaining to the FIR bearing No.08 dated 16.01.2021 registered at Police Station Balianwali, District Bathinda, under Section 61 of the Excise Act, 1914.

Learned State counsel, on the instructions from ASI Kewal Singh of Police Station Balianwali, District Bathinda, submits that in compliance of the order dated 09.02.2021 as passed by this Court, the petitioner had joined in the investigation of the case and his custodial interrogation is not required and even the Challan has also been presented before the competent Court and moreover, the petitioner is not involved in any other case of the similar nature. In view of the above-discussed submission of learned State counsel, the instant petition is allowed and the relief of interim bail, as extended to the petitioner vide the said order dated 09.02.2021, is made absolute.
