The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No. 167, dated 9.12.2021, Police Station Khuian Sarwar, District Fazilka, under Sections 452, 323, 148, 149 IPC.

The FIR was lodged at the instance of Charanjit Singh wherein it is alleged that on 7.12.2021, when he alongwith other members of his family were having dinner, his neighbour Gurnam Singh accompanied by his wife Kashmiro, Mangat @ Mangi, Rangpal @ Rangi, Gurwinder Singh @ Bindi, Goga Bai, Tulsa Bai, Rekha Bai, Pooja, entered into his house and pushed complainant's mother Mala MOHAN SINGH 2022.03.07 17:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
- 2 - CRM-M-5320-2022 (O&M) Devi, as a result of which she fell on the ground. The other accused are also alleged to have caused injuries.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since both the parties are neighbours, they have amicably resolved their issues and infact a petition for quashing of the instant FIR on the basis of compromise has also been filed.

At this stage, Ms. Pushpinder Kaur, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of the complainant and has endorsed the factum of compromise and has stated that she has no objection for acceptance of the petition.

Although, learned State counsel has feigned ignorance about the factum of compromise, but having regard to the nature of offence and the fact that the matter has been compromised amongst the neighbours, the petition is accepted and it is directed that the petitioner, in the event of arrest, be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Arresting/Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
