Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per direction of Rent Controller, petitioner will himself appear as witness before examining any other witness. However, presently, he is in London and will return by the end of this month or first week of December, 2018. In view of submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to appear as witness before the Rent Controller in second week of December, starting from 07.12.2018 on his own. In the event of his non-appearance despite opportunity being provided learned Rent Controller will be at liberty to pass order in accordance with law.
