Counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent no.6 in connivance with the local police is unnecessarily harassing both the petitioners and that petitioner no.1 is occupying shop in question as a tenant under petitioner no.2. That representation(s)(Annexure P-2) dated 11.10.2023 was given to respondent no.4 and 14.10.2023(Annexure P-2) was given to respondent no.3 in this regard but the police authorities failed to take any action against respondent no.6. 2.

Counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a time bound direction is given to respondent no.3 to look into the matter and decide representation dated 14.10.2023 (Annexure P-2) given by the petitioners against respondent no.6.

Mr. Jaspal Singh Guru, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 to 3 and submitted that in case any complaint/representation(s) is pending, the concerned authorities will consider and decide the same as per law.

Counsel for the petitioners is agreed to the aforesaid proposal.

In view of above and without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide representation dated 14.10.2023 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
