Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to implement the Norms and Basis of Costing for the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (In short RNTCP) under NSP 2012-2017 dated 29.07.2013 issued by Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (P-4). Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioners submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case the legal notice dated 25.03.2021 (P-6) is decided expeditiously.

Ms. Maloo Chahal, DAG, Punjab, & Mr.Anil Sharma, Advocate who are present in Court, accept notice on behalf of respondent No.1 as well as respondents No.2 & 3, and raise no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioners.

CWP No.2426 of 2022 In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.2-The Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, to consider and decide the aforesaid legal notice dated 25.03.2021 (P-6) in accordance with law by passing speaking order within a period of 04 (four) months from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to say that in case there is a failure on the part of competent authority, petitioner would be at liberty to move an appropriate application for revival of this writ petition and the same shall be considered as per law.
