(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioners being aggrieved by the action of the respondent-authorities in illegally granting admission to 22 students in MBBS/BDS/BHMS courses for the session 2021 under U.T. Chandigarh Pool.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent-authorities have mis-interpreted the relevant clause(s) of the prospectus for admission to MBBS/BDS/BHMS courses for the session 2021 and granted admission to the wards of army personnel who are not the residents of the Union Territory, Chandigarh by treating the Chandigarh Pool as an All India Quota.

It is, however, observed that in the present writ petition, the petitioners have not named the persons who have been granted admission by the respondent-authorities. Nor has any complaint in this regard been filed before the respondent-authorities.

When confronted with the aforesaid aspects, learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that they shall file a complaint against the AMODH SHARMA 2022.02.10 15:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Anil Mehta, learned senior standing counsel for respondents No. 1 to 4, submits they would decide the complaint, if any, filed by the petitioners as early as possible, preferably within three days from filing thereof by passing a detailed order after examining the same from all facts and facets including, if so required, hearing the persons concerned. In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned senior counsel for the petitioners as well as the statement of learned senior standing counsel for respondents No. 1 to 4, the writ petition stands disposed of.
