RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a case arising from FIR No.96 dated 10.10.2018 registered under Sections 306 and 506 IPC at Police Station Rajasansi, Amritsar (Rural).

According to the prosecution, deceased Harpreet Singh committed suicide leaving behind a suicide note mentioning names of 17 persons as responsible for his suicidal death. Petitioner is one of them. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that six co-accused of the petitioner have been granted interim protection of anticipatory bail. Case of the petitioner is on better footing, because he is in custody for last about two months. No recovery has to be effected from the petitioner. Conclusion of trial may take a sufficient long time. No useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in jail any more. Considering overall facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed. Consequently, petitioner is ordered to be released on bail during pendency of trial, on his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
