ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Counsel for the State has placed on record the affidavit of the Director Secondary Education, Haryana, Panchkula, vide which the petitioner is granted the stepping-up of his pay notionally w.e.f. 20.02.1985 and actually w.e.f. 19.08.2022 i.e. the date of his promotion, as such.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the arrears are yet to be released.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous with a direction to the respondents to release the arrears within a period of 03 months from today. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive this petition, if so advised.
