The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.84 dated 5.11.2019 under Sections 307/323/324/148/149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added lateron) at Police Station Kotli Surat Mallian, Batala District Gurdaspur.

The FIR was lodged at the instance of Manpreet Singh wherein it is alleged that the accused came in a tractor trolley, armed with weapons and caused injuries to him and also tried to run the tractor over him. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the matter has infact been amicably resolved amongst the parties and apart from this case, there was another case registered against the opposite party which has also been KAMAL KUMAR 2021.08.06 17:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioner has already joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation.
