Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.156 dated 10.08.2021, under Sections 22 and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural).

It is acknowledged by both sides that entire prosecution evidence is over and trial is pending for recording statement(s) under Section 313 Cr.P.C. for 11.12.2023.

In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition for bail at this stage.
