RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner - Gurpreet Singh @ Gopi in a case arising from FIR No.231 dated 20.11.2019 registered under Sections 307, 324, 323, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Bhikhi, District Mansa. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of compromise between the parties, upon 'no objection' from learned counsel for the complainant, co-accused of the petitioner, namely, Kuldeep Singh @ Laddi has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 27.01.2020 passed in CRM-M-2647 of 2020. Conclusion of trial may take sufficient long time. No useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in jail any more. Therefore, treating the case of the petitioner on the same parity as that of his co-accused, he may also be granted regular bail.
