(Oral) Counsel for the petitioner inter alia submits that FIR No.04 dated 03.01.2025 (Annexure P-1) is registered at the instance of present petitioner against respondents No.4 to 6 but the police failed to take any action on which the petitioner has given representation dated 22.01.2025 (Annexure P-2). He further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation dated 22.01.2025 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a given time frame. Notice of motion.

Mr. J.S.Dhaliwal, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State and on instructions from ASI Makhan Singh submits that after registration of FIR (Annexure P-1) police is investigating the matter to take action against the culprits. State counsel further submits that in case, any such representation filed by the petitioner is pending with the SONIA BURA 2025.01.28 10:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In the light of above, without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation dated 22.01.2025 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of next two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
