The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.130 dated 26.08.2020 registered under Sections 452, 323 and 354 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar, District Hoshiarpur, and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR, on the basis of compromise dated 11.09.2020 (Annexure P-2). 2.

Vide order dated 15.02.2021 the Court had directed the statements to be recorded. Pursuant to the order dated 15.02.2021 a report dated 05.03.2021 of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hoshiarpur has been received by this Court. As per the report the statements of the parties Yogesh Sharma 2023.12.09 10:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

Thereafter on 18.07.2022 the case was adjourned on the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners who had sought time to implead the husband of the complainant who had also sustained injuries. On 12.12.2022 the case was adjourned on the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners. Yet again on 25.07.2023 the case was adjourned on the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners to 06.10.2023. On 06.10.2023 none appeared on behalf of the petitioners as well as respondent No.2 and the case was adjourned to today. Today again no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners as well as respondent No.2. It appears that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the present petition. This Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present petition for non-prosecution.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
