HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is for quashing the FIR No.113 dated 03.06.2022 registered under Section 346 IPC at Police Station Division No.7, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar (Annexure P-1) and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Satpal Singh, at the very outset, submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the investigating agency has already concluded the investigation and prepared a cancellation report on 25.01.2025 and the same shall be presented before the jurisdictional court within a period of 06 weeks from today.

Ordered accordingly.
