Aggrieved by the judgment dated 14.03.2009, passed by the Judge, Special Court, Nawanshahar, vide which the appellant was convicted and sentenced to undergo for a period of four months and to pay a fine of Rs.4,000/- under Section 21 of NDPS Act 1985, the appellant has come up before this Court by filing the present appeal in the year 2009.

Counsel for the State on instructions submits that the appellant has expired on 20.02.2019 and handed over her death certificate, which is taken on record. Given above, appeal is disposed of as abated. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
