Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 Cr.P.C.), for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, during the pendency of trial, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed here-under:- Name of Petitioner(s) FIR No.

FIR in the present case was got registered at the instance of the complainant - Jaswinder Singh. As per the allegations, at about 9:30 P.M., the petitioner - Jobanpreet Singh, while driving a tractor, ran over the injured - Mandeep with an intention to kill him. It is further alleged that after running over the injured once, petitioner repeated the act again. The said facts also find mention in the status report dated JAWALA RAM 2026.05.05 19:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-4328-2026 - 2 - 28.04.2026. The relevant extract from the said status report, in this regard, is reproduced here-under:- "....... That at abut 9.30 P.M. Jaspinder Singh reached the ere. That petrol pump of Ramdas where he saw that Jobanpreet Singh son of Avtar Singh resident of Thoba Police Station Ramdas, To whom he knew earlier because he was on visiting terms to his house. Shubhpreet Singh son of Amandeep Singh resident of Mulakpur was on his tractor Mahindra 575 color read whose number he could not read but came with them on that tractor. Tractor was driven by Joban Preet Singh at high speed with intention to kill his nephew and run over him. Jaspinder Singh raised alarm to save his nephew from distance but Joban Preet Singh put the tractor on reverse gear again and run over the same on his nephew on account of that his nephew injured badly and his intestine came out from his stomach. Joban Preet Singh along with tractor fled away from the spot. Mandeep Singh with help of passer by got admitted to Hartej Hospital, Amritsar by Jaspinder Singh."

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of instant petition.
