Prayer made in the present petition is for consideration of candidature of the petitioner under Sports Persons Category (General Category) for appointment as Junior Engineer for which application has been sent by him pursuant to advertisement No.10 of 2023 dated 04.09.2023. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even the admit card was issued and in the written examination, he had secured 22.5 marks and was also called for counseling and had duly uploaded and produced the sports gradation certificate dated 05.07.2011, Annexure P-14, however in the final result his name does not figure. In this regard, a representation dated 15.01.2025, Annexure P-16 has been submitted, which has yet not evoked any response. He, on instructions, prays that a direction be given to respondent No.4 to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to decide the representation dated 15.01.2025, Annexure P-16, within a period of 2 weeks, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
