**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The learned counsel for the State has filed a reply dated 17.07.2025. The same is taken on record. A perusal of Para 06 thereof would reveal that when contacted, the appellant stated that he had compromised the matter with the respondent-accused. The learned counsel for the appellant on oral instructions received on the telephone admits the fact that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and prays that he be permitted to withdraw the instant appeal.

In view of the above, the present appeal is ordered to be dismissed as withdrawn.
