(ORAL) Learned counsel for the State has produced custody certificate of appellant - Heera Lal and submits that in the custody certificate inadvertently title of connected appeal Crl. Appeal No.453-SB of 2007, Harjinder Singh v. State of Punjab has been typed, however, it relates to appellant - Heera Lal. Accordingly, custody certificate of Heera Lal, filed in Court today, is taken on record.

As per custody certificate, appellant - Heera Lal has expired on 13/14.06.2007 in the Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the appellant also admits this fact. Till date no application has been moved by any of the nearest relative(s)/legal representative(s) of the appellant for impleading as party to contest the appeal. In view of the fact that appellant has died, appeal stands abated.
