Sandhawalia, Acting Chief Justice (Oral) In pursuance of the earlier orders, the respondents have re-engaged the appellant on contractual basis for a period of 11 months from 17.02.2024 to 16.01.2025, vide letter dated 16.02.2024, which is taken on record.

Keeping in view the fact that the appellant has been re-engaged, the present letters patent appeal has been rendered infructuous, since the relief sought was only to protect the interest of the appellant/writ petitioner during the pendency of the writ petition. It is left open to the appellant to file an appropriate application before the learned Single Judge for any additional relief as and when required.

Accordingly, the present letters patent appeal is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
