IN THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATES OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH C.R. No.8839 of 2015 Date of Decision.07.01.2016 Harnek Singh .......Petitioner Vs.
Lakhwinder Singh and others .........Respondents
Present:
Mr. Satbir Gill, Advocate for the petitioner.
CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE K. KANNAN 1.
Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment ?
2.
To be referred to the Reporters or not ?
3.
Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? -.- K. KANNAN J. (ORAL) 1.
The revision petition is against the order passed rejecting an application filed by the petitioner against the setting aside of some objection about the report of the local commissioner. The Court has observed that if he has any objection to the report of the local commissioner, it can be filed by either of the parties and the same could be brought up while cross-examining the local commissioner as a witness, if he is examined by either of the parties. But for the time being, no objection could be entertained upon the report of the local commissioner. I modify the order only to the extent of keeping the objection filed by the petitioner on record to allow for examination of the commissioner to be made by either of the parties as a witness with liberty to any party to cross-examine him.
2.
With this modification, the revision petition is disposed of. (K. KANNAN) JUDGE January 07, 2016 Pankaj* PANKAJ KUMAR 2016.01.08 12:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
