CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE K. KANNAN 1.
Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment ?
2.
To be referred to the Reporters or not ?
3.
Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? -.- K. KANNAN J. (ORAL) 1.
The court below has considered the claim of the respondents herein by referring to the judgment of the Supreme Court making possible a co-sharer to secure the benefit of the award. The contention raised by the counsel is that the decree was passed by the High Court enhancing the compensation in the year 2008 and the execution petition was filed in the year 2013, five years later and the liability to pay interest cannot be fastened on the petitioner. I reject this contention, for the liability exists under the decree and if the amount had not been deposited by the petitioner, he has to take the consequences. I will make no intervention.
2.
The revision petition is dismissed.
