MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of interim bail for a period of 10 days for attending the marriage of his sister, which is to be solemnized on 31.01.2025 at Village Duliyana (Ambala), in FIR No.410 dated 09.11.2023 under Sections 120-B, 201, 272, 308, 328, 420, 467, 468, 471, 472 and 473 of the IPC and Sections 61, 63-A and 72-A of the Excise Act, registered at Police Station Mullana, District Ambala. 2.

In compliance of order dated 28.01.2025, the learned State counsel, on instructions from S.I. Khushi Ram, has verified the authenticity of the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner that the marriage of petitioner's sister is indeed due to be solemnized on 31.01.2025 at Village Duliyana, District Ambala. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 4.

In view of the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to accept the prayer of the petitioner for grant of interim PUNEET SACHDEVA 2025.01.30 16:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-4674-2025 (O&M) -2bail for 10 days. However, he is allowed to attend the marriage of his sister only for one day i.e. 31.01.2025 in police custody. The petitioner shall be taken under police custody to the venue of the wedding i.e. Village Duliyana, District Ambala, on 31.01.2025 at 08:00 A.M. and would be escorted back to the Jail, where he is presently lodged on the same day by 05:00 P.M. All travel expenses incurred by the authorities concerned, shall be borne by the petitioner.
