The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondent No.1 to submit status report in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, SAS Nagar, Mohali in CRM/769/2020 titled as 'Muskan Raj Vs. Station House Officer and another. 2.

Affidavit of Jaskran Singh, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Rupnagar Range, Rupnagar filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2 is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia submits that the grievance raised by the petitioner has been redressed as status report has been submitted by the concerned SHO on 16.02.2024 and therefore, nothing survives for consideration in the present petition.

In view of the above, no further orders are required and the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
