NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 214 dated 1.12.2023 (Anenxure P-1) registered under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 (offence under Section 376 IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 added subsequently vide DDR No. 29 dated 22.12.2023) at Police Station City Fazilka, District Fazilka.
Status report dated 27.07.2024, filed by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Fazilka, on behalf of respondent-State is taken on record. A copy thereof, has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.
After arguing for some time, when this Court is not inclined to accord the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner, learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition, at this stage.
Permitted to do so.
