VINOD S. BHARDWAJ , J (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to release the family pensionary benefits to the widow of the deceased Bir Singh, who expired on 18.01.2021. Learned State counsel points out that the claim of the petitioner has already been allowed by the respondents vide order dated 03.08.2022 (R.1). None has turned up for the petitioner. Even on the last date of hearing, no one had appeared on her behalf. It seems that the purpose of filing the petition has already been achieved and the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the instant petition.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
