Applicant/appellant - Ranjit has filed an application for permission to file appeal against the acquittal of respondents No.1 to 5 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Rohtak for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 148 read with Section 149 Indian Penal Code ('IPC' - for short), besides, acquittal of respondent No.1 - Chand for the offence under Section 27 of the Arms Act. Leave was granted by this Court vide order dated 15.03.2016 and bailable warrants were issued in respect of respondents No.1 to 5.

CRA-AD No.55 of 2016(O&M) [2] Crl.Misc. No.19788 of 2016 has been filed by the applicant/appellant - Ranjit for withdrawal of the appeal as he has compromised the matter with the respondents. Crl. Misc. application is supported by an affidavit of Ranjit, the applicant/appellant. Accordingly, the application (Crl.Misc. No.19788 of 2016) is allowed and the appeal (CRA-AD No.55 of 2016) is dismissed as withdrawn.
