[1] Due to COVID-19 situation, the Court is convened through video conference.

[2] This petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking regular bail in FIR No. 123, dated 24th September, 2020 under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 [hereinafter referred to as 'Act'] (Section 29 and 27-B of the Act were added later on), registered at Police Station Sadar Kotkapura, District Faridkot.

[3] After arguing for some time and realizing that this Court is not inclined to grant bail, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage. [4] Dismissed as withdrawn.
