Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for recruitment to the post of Lecturer (Commerce), pursuant to the advertisement dated 08.01.2022.

Learned State counsel refers to paras 2 and 4 of the preliminary submissions of the reply by way of affidavit of the Assistant Director, office of the Director of Public Instructions (Secondary Education), Punjab, dated 20.07.2022, to which there is no rebuttal by way of replication, to state that the petitioner possessed the degree of MBA while the required qualification in terms of Rule 6 of the Punjab Education Service (School and Inspection) Group-B Service Rules, 2018, PARVEEN KUMAR 2025.02.27 18:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.
- 2 - CWP-3902-2022 was M.Com/CA/ICWA, with at least 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification but equivalency certificate regarding which was to be given by the concerned university or institution and B.Ed. from the recognized University.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3-University states that it had found the degree of MBA as possessed by the petitioner and M.Com. to be not equivalent. There being nothing placed on record to show otherwise, the present petition, being devoid of merit, is hereby dismissed.
