(ORAL) The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider and decide his representation dated 02.02.2022 (Annexure P-10) which is pending before them. Mr. Anil Mehta, learned senior standing counsel, appearing for respondents No. 1 and 2, on advance copy, submits that the petitioners' representation shall be considered and decided in accordance with law. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned senior standing counsel for the respondents No.

1 and 2, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition which is accordingly disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
