Civil Writ Petition No. 2456 of 2022 AND Civil Writ Petition No. 2460 of 2022 recruitment notice No. 2 of 2021, the applications were invited for filling up 2015 posts in the District Police Cadre and 2343 posts in the Armed Police Cadre for recruitment of the Male/Female Constables. The petitioners are stated to have applied for the said recruitment. The main grievance of the petitioners is to the effect that while preparing the final select list, the authorities have committed errors. It has been pointed out that the select list has not been prepared in accordance with the law laid down in Jitender Kumar Singh and Another v. State of Uttar Pradesh and Others AIR 2010 SC 1851.
5.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and without commenting on merits, it is considered appropriate to permit the Chairperson of the Central Recruitment Board for the Recruitment of Constables (District and Armed Cadre) (Male and Female) to pass a speaking order while considering the case of the petitioner. This order has been passed so as to enable the Chairperson to consider the case of the petitioner pragmatically. Let the order be passed by the Chairperson within a period of one month, after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his counsel. 6.
With the observations made above, both the writ petitions are disposed of.
