The present Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect the life, liberty and dignity of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 5.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Baldev Singh, submits that an FIR has already been registered against the respondent No.5. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that since the requisite action in accordance with law already stands initiated by way of registration of the FIR, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition and the same may be disposed of as such. 4.

In view of the aforesaid statements made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is rendered infructuous and is accordingly disposed of as such.
