(ORAL) Learned State counsel has placed on record the affidavit of Inderpal Chohan, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Patran, District Pa(ala, along with copy of death cer(ficate of appellant-Pala Ram as Annexure R-1, revealing that appellant-Pala Ram had expired in May, 2021. Annexure R-2 is the statement of Prasani Devi widow of said appellant-Pala Ram confirming the death of her husband. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, when appellant has expired, the present appeal is hereby disposed of having been abated.
